Navy is a Neutral

I think I have found a new favorite color thanks to this Armani Exchange dress that I just adore.  If you think the front is pretty, wait until you see the back!

I love summer! Why? Because I love cork...cork sandals that it.  I like popping open a bottle of wine too, though.  Summer is the season for this proven classic to really shine.  Cork platforms or wedges can be paired with just about anything in a woman's summer wardrobe and a chunky sole is usually deceptively comfortable. I could walk forever in these Michael Kors. You can be sure they will be "in" next year.  I'll probably wear mine to the ground before they ever become a fashion "don't", which will be never.

I picked up this dress at Armani Exchange.  There is nothing new about the overall silhouette though I'm still a big fan of the style.  What gives this one that special touch is the scalloped halter top.  It's what caught my attention in the first place.  The wide straps for the back and the thicker and weightier fabric also provide decent support up top.  The dress was never hot or heavy, though.  I usually equate summer dresses with lighter colors but I fell hard for the rich and elegant navy.  I've found myself gravitating to this color recently.  A great alternative to the little black dress, I'd say.

I hope you enjoyed the post!

  1. Yes, definitely cork, platform and wedges are necessary part for wardrobe. I like platforms the most and for that, and sites a like help me to buy while paying less.
